And it was from this research that he was able to provide indications in many areas of human activity, including education; there are currently ten Waldorf/Rudolf Steiner Schools and fifteen kindergartens in New Zealand. His new developments in agriculture, Biodynamics, continue to attract an increasing number of farmers, orchardists, wine growers and home gardeners. And a genuinely holistic medicine, together with many indications in economics, philosophy, special education, science, the arts, religion and the new art of eurythmy are part of daily life for many people today  .
During his lifetime Steiner wrote around 30 books and delivered over 6,000 lectures to audiences across Europe detailing the results of his spiritual scientific researches and a phenomenological approach towards an understanding of the spirit. The relationship between the human being and the cosmos were a primary focus which has resulted in a multi-faceted and innovative approach to modern life which is even more applicable for life in the 21st century.
